On Wednesday 30th- I went ahead and attended Q Cafe’s revamped unveiling event. At first, I thought the event was an exclusive “invite only” domain, to which, I had no access to..
That was until the host of the event, little miss Noaf H. of PLT [PrettyLittleThings] declared the ground open for all. With that being noted; an “Alice in Wonderland” like themed event is one of those [little] things I wouldn’t miss out on!
Q Cafe, for those of you who aren’t familiar with it’s phases, first opened in Salem Almubarak st. across from Dasman complex- your very average looking cafe with neon coated walls, out dated seating arrangements and relatively empty. It opened a branch at The Village strip in Abu Alhassaniyah area, overlooking Fahaheel rd. In a nutshell, The Q Cafe in The Village closed down, and the profit saved was all put into recreating the first Q Cafe location… and the results were a complete [Knock Out]
Part of the unveiling was a small collaboration between Q and [The Yard] online shopping boutique. A quirky with a huge dose of whimsy shopping website for those of you who fancy [Tea with white rabbits & red Queens]. All about the cafe, [The Yard] among different investors, showcased their collections from jewellery, planners, cameras and sketch notes, stone cool T-shirts… to [lady Mystery- غموض] herself!! Who caught my attention & heart instantly, and I was lucky to be introduced to the man & woman behind creating the lady I stalk on instagram.
[And what is the use of a book,” thought Alice, “without pictures..]
In an attempt to commemorate my visit, I treated myself to some [Star Wars] oriental swag~
